Aim of the site

Which? Local is a free website for subscribers to Which? (“Which? members”). The site is for Which? members to recommend local service providers that they have used and rate them.

How Which? Local Works

To post a recommendation on Which? Local, a Which? member must have either completed a questionnaire that asks general questions relating to the performance of the service provider that they are recommending, or use the Recommendation Wizard on Which? Local.

As this is a recommendations website only postings relating to service providers that achieve a minimum rating of 3 or above will be shown. No information will be posted that relates to any service provider that achieves a score of 1 or 2 resulting from the completion of the questionnaire by a Which? member. No analysis of any information or the questionnaire results is carried out by Which? other than the segregation of service providers achieving a score of 3 or above.

Data Protection

Which? Local does not divulge personal information. The only way that a Which? member can obtain personal information from another, is by choosing to include their personal data when responding to a ‘Help Wanted’ or by posting a comment about an existing recommendation.

Any messages exchanged in this way will not be posted on Which? Local but will be viewed only by the Which? member that has submitted a recommendation and the Which? member seeking information.

The information available through Which?Local represents the views of Which? Members and not the views of Which?. Your use of Which?Local is only permitted on the basis that Which? shall not be held liable or responsible for any information or recommendation available through Which?Local.
